Litigation Attorney
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to support foreclosure litigation matters in New York. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a strong background in foreclosure proceedings, legal drafting, and courtroom appearances.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and review foreclosure pleadings, motions, judgments, and other legal documents. Attend court hearings, settlement conferences, and mediation proceedings. Analyze cases and provide recommendations regarding legal strategy. Manage escalated cases and monitor deadlines to ensure timely completion. Communicate with clients, legal teams, and court appearance counsel. Prepare case updates, correspondence, and other legal documentation. Travel as needed for court appearances and business requirements.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar. 3–5 years of foreclosure experience. Strong knowledge of foreclosure litigation procedures and court filings. Excellent written communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. Must reside in New York and be willing to travel as needed.
