Manager, Shared Services – Cloud Engineering, FedRAMP

Job Description:

Manage a team of Engineers: conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and career development.
Own the technical roadmap for shared cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
Set and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes).
Make technical decisions for application-layer infrastructure including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
Run sprint planning, manage cross-team dependencies, and keep delivery on track.
Lead post-incident reviews and ensure resolutions.
Work with Security and Compliance to maintain FedRAMP and SOC 2 controls.
Collaborate with Development, Product, and Security teams to prioritize platform requirements.
Represent the team in architecture reviews and planning discussions with leadership.
Use and promote AI-assisted tooling for engineering workflows.

Requirements:

8+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years managing engineers directly.
Hands-on background with Azure and/or AWS (Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud security fundamentals).
Experience implementing and running critical production level SaaS products with high availability requirements (Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis).
Experience in or adjacent to FedRAMP-authorized environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
