About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and committed math tutor to support students in strengthening their math skills and building confidence in their academic abilities. The Math Tutor will provide individualized and small-group instruction, focusing on helping students understand key concepts, close learning gaps, and develop problem-solving strategies. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, enthusiastic about math, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and or small group tutoring sessions in Math.
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on the student's needs and learning style.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in Math is REQUIRED
- Algebra I-II, Calculus, Geometry & Trigonometry
- Experience working with children or students in a classroom setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
- Patience and understanding when working with students of different ages and abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
