Mathematics Expert (AI Training) About The Role What if your years of advanced mathematical training could directly shape how AI reasons through the world's hardest problems? We're looking for Mathematics experts — Masters and PhD holders — to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep mathematical expertise and a sharp eye for rigor and clarity. What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and intellectual depth Design complex problem statements across algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and clarity Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen model performance Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of mathematical precision and depth Who You Are Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field Deep expertise in one or more areas: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written communication skills Able to translate complex mathematical concepts into clear, well-structured explanations Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems Background in mathematical research, academic publishing, or technical writing Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts Experience reviewing or grading advanced mathematical work
