Mechanical CAD&Simulation Engineer
Description About the role - Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks, work that would take an expert 10–15 hours. - You'll design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts. - You'll work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build. Requirements - A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's or PhD is a plus. - 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar). - Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus. - An active professional CAD licence of your own (required). - Comfortable with Python and GitHub. - English at B2 level or above. Project time expectations - For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. - This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active. Compensation - On this project, contributors can earn up to $69 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. - Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise. - Please note that other projects on the platform may offer different earning levels based on their requirements.
