About The Role GrabJobs is actively seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our expanding team. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from your home office, aligning with EST time schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing secure, scalable web applications using Microsoft technologies and will be comfortable working in a dynamic, Agile environment. This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Alternatively, candidates with at least 8 years of relevant experience may qualify in lieu of formal education. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development is required, with demonstrated expertise in creating secure web applications using the .NET 4.x Framework. Proficiency in C#, Webforms, MVC, Web API, ADO.Net, and Entity Framework is essential. Candidates should have experience with web service development utilizing SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, and related technologies such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, and CSS. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented principles and design patterns is necessary, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. The ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and work legally within the U.S. without sponsorship are mandatory requirements.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex analysis, designing, developing, testing, and debugging software solutions. You will maintain accountability for activities ranging from software design and coding to unit testing and orchestration. Active participation as a member of a Scrum team is expected, including providing input on team velocity, participating in sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical requirements are met efficiently and securely. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing application performance, and ensuring adherence to security standards throughout the development lifecycle. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of solutions delivered to our government clients.
