Job ID: UT-111291 4P Remote .Net Full Stack Developer with C#, Entity, Angular, scanning/imaging, Postgres, DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, ASP.net, .Net core, Web API, SQL, Oracle, microservices, AWS, and legacy migration experience Location: Salt Lake City, UT (DWS) Duration: 60 months Skills - Full Stack Developer with expertise in .NET core and strong C# skills with ability to write SQL at a master technical level - The project will include the ability to separate application, business and data areas on the backend - Entity Framework, effectively write unit tests, and translate visual and written designs into efficient back-end libraries - Extensive experience with SQL and Oracle databases, web applications, microservices and batch jobs - Experience with AWS cloud platform is preferred Project Description - The DWS / DTS Shared Services group is an enterprise team that provides support to Utah's Unemployment Insurance (UI) under the Workforce Services division - Developer would support the Contributions Automated Tax System (CATS) which is the tax collection management system for UI - There is also potential to support the Comprehensive Unemployment Benefits System (CUBS) which is the benefits system application which is also part of UI - Currently, CATS is being modernized into .NET and is expected to be fully rewritten approximately within the next three years - Continual maintenance, bug fixes and enhancements are needed on both the CUBS and CATS systems with the developer expected to support both, as needed - All major new functions are approved by DWS UI management and good communication skills are essential to communicate changes and needs to our business partners Required skills - .NET and .NET core developer with 3+ years of experience - C# developer with 5+ years of experience - Extensive Entity Framework experience - Extensive skills in HTML/CSS, Angular - Extensive experience with the development of web applications, web APIs, microservices and batch jobs - Expert knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance tax and benefits systems - Expert knowledge in scanning and imaging systems - Extensive SQL and database knowledge and skills - Experience with the Oracle database - Experience with the Postgres database - Experience with DevOps, including GitHub actions and managing a CI/CD pipeline - Experience with AWS cloud platform is preferred - Translate visual and written designs into efficient front-end components - Establish and implement best practices and standards for all front end visuals The Ideal Candidate - Broad experience using C# with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular and Web APIs - Excellent Communication skills and willingness to work with software end users - Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills - Willing to work closely with business analysts on usability and design - Able to learn new skills quickly and mentor others - Experience with AWS
