Network Engineer III ( I&O)
Network Engineer III Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our client's team. This is a hands-on role focused on advanced network provisioning and operational support within a fast-paced, high-availability environment. The ideal candidate will work directly with live network infrastructure, performing complex configurations, executing changes, and troubleshooting issues that impact critical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute complex provisioning tasks on live network equipment using approved Methods of Procedure (MOPs), including activities that may result in temporary service interruptions
- Perform circuit grooming, card swaps, and software upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues quickly to minimize downtime and service impact
- Configure, maintain, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure
- Work directly with production network environments to ensure stability and performance
Network Equipment Experience Candidates should have experience working with:
- Juniper MX960
- Cisco ASR 9000
- Cisco ME3400
Qualifications
- Previous experience working for an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network carrier
- Minimum certification required: CCNA or JNCIA
- Strong hands-on experience with network provisioning and troubleshooting in live environments
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, operational setting
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to process (MOPs)
