- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing, implementing, or supporting production OCR or document processing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with OCR technologies such as Tesseract, PaddleOCR, Google Document AI, or similar cloud-based OCR platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining document processing workflows.
- Experience building and supporting queue-based or batch processing pipelines.
- Knowledge of image preprocessing techniques, including deskewing, denoising, contrast adjustment, and image enhancement.
- Experience processing unstructured or poor-quality document inputs, including scanned documents, mobile photos, and compressed PDFs.
- Strong understanding of OCR accuracy measurement, validation, and testing across multiple document types.
