Job Title: OneStream Solution Architect Location: 100% remote Jade Business Services (JBS) is a specialist technology and consulting firm with a strong focus on data, analytics, AI, and finance transformation . We partner with global clients to modernize their finance and planning landscapes, moving them from fragmented legacy EPM tools to unified platforms such as OneStream . Our teams are small, deep-skilled, and hands-on , with direct ownership of outcomes. 2. Role Overview – OneStream Solution Architect We are moving from a fragmented Oracle Hyperion landscape to a unified OneStream ecosystem . This is a transformation ownership role, not system admin. As our OneStream Solution Architect , you will: Act as the technical gatekeeper for our System Integrator (SI). Own and review the OneStream blueprints, design, and implementation . Ensure we leverage Extensible Dimensionality correctly instead of “lifting and shifting” Hyperion problems. Lead internal upskilling and build a OneStream Center of Excellence (CoE) . Own technical design including Business Rules (VB.Net) and MarketPlace integrations . 3.
Key Responsibilities
A. Architecture & Design Ownership Own the end-to-end OneStream architecture for consolidation, planning, and reporting. Review and approve SI blueprints , ensuring: Extensible Dimensionality is used properly. Design is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with future roadmap. Identify and prevent “ lift and shift ” from Hyperion; drive true modernization. B. SI Shadowing & Quality Control Act as the “SI Shadow” – technical gatekeeper for all design and configuration. Review SI deliverables: metadata, rules, workflows, integration designs, performance tuning. Challenge design choices where needed; escalate and resolve design risks early. Ensure alignment with internal finance, IT, and audit requirements. C. Technical Ownership – Business Rules, Integrations & MarketPlace Write and review complex Business Rules in VB.Net (calculations, allocations, validations). Design & oversee relational blend usage: transactional vs summary data placement. Manage integrations with the OneStream MarketPlace : Account Reconciliations Tax Provisioning Other relevant solutions as needed. Collaborate with internal / external integration resources on data feeds (SQL/ETL) . D. Internal Upskilling & OneStream CoE Transform Finance team from “users” to “experts” . Design and conduct training sessions, playbooks, and best-practice guides . Establish a OneStream Center of Excellence (CoE) : Governance, design standards, release management, support processes. Provide ongoing coaching to finance super-users and internal IT. E. Stakeholder Management & Governance Work closely with Finance leadership , IT, and SI partners to prioritize enhancements. Participate in Steering Committee / governance forums with clear technical input. Ensure timelines and quality metrics for the OneStream program are met. 4. Must-Have Qualifications Total EPM / Finance Tech Experience: ~7–12 years (flexible). OneStream Experience: 3+ years of hands-on implementation (Cloud or On-Prem). Strong Hyperion Foundation : Deep understanding of HFM, Essbase, FDMEE (so you know exactly what’s being replaced). Technical Skills: Proficiency in VB.Net (writing & debugging Business Rules). Strong SQL for queries, debugging, and data integration. Demonstrated experience as: Consultant / Senior Consultant / Architect on OneStream projects (not just admin). Strong communication skills with ability to interact with finance users, SI teams, and leadership . 5.

Qualifications Multiple end-to-end OneStream implementations (design through go-live). Experience with OneStream Relational Blend and performance optimization. Prior experience implementing OneStream MarketPlace solutions (Account Recs, Tax Provision, etc.). Experience in Energy & Utilities or similar industries. Prior involvement in building or running a CoE .
