- *Role Description The Online Content Editor internship is a remote role focused on supporting the creation, management, and refinement of digital content for Retreat Magazine. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and editing online articles, optimizing web content for clarity and engagement, and ensuring consistency with the magazine’s voice and brand st andards.
The intern will assist with updating and organizing content from LTK in the content management system, coordinating with writers and contributors, and preparing stories for publication across digital platforms. Additional tasks may include sourcing images, checking links and formatting, and supporting social and digital media initiatives to enhance audience reach.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Writing and Web Content Writing, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned digital articles.
- Experience or familiarity with Content Management tools and workflows for publishing and organizing online content.
- Proficiency in affiliate marketing.
- Understanding of Digital Media, including online publishing best practices and basic audience engagement concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Interest in fashion, travel, culture, and lifestyle content; prior experience in digital publishing or journalism is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; coursework or studies in communications, journalism, media, or related fields are beneficial.**
