OpenShift Platform Engineer Location: Remote (U.S.) Job Type: Full-time (Direct W2) Job Summary Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD .
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Automate cluster provisioning and lifecycle using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD) . Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant environments. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD . Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security. Collaborate with development teams and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm). Hands-on experience with CI/CD, scripting (Bash, Python, or Go), and monitoring tools. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
