Oracle EPM Functional Consultant – EDM
Position: Oracle EPM Functional Consultant / Oracle EDM Consultant Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote Duration: Contract followed by C2H Experience: Senior-level EPM Functional Consultant Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Oracle EPM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on implementation experience and mandatory expertise in Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM/EDMCS). The ideal candidate will be more functional than technical, with proven experience gathering business requirements, designing and configuring Oracle EPM solutions, leading testing, and working directly with business stakeholders. Strong experience implementing EDM/EDMCS is required. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud. Mandatory Oracle EDM / EDMCS experience. Strong experience with Oracle EPM implementations, preferably across multiple full lifecycle projects. Strong functional consulting experience, including requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production support. Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders to translate business requirements into EPM solutions. Strong understanding of enterprise data management, metadata, hierarchies, dimensions, nodes, mappings, and data governance. Experience designing and implementing EDM applications and managing data/metadata workflows. Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend appropriate EPM/EDM solutions. Strong communication and documentation skills. Oracle EDM / EDMCS Responsibilities Lead functional design and implementation of Oracle EDM/EDMCS solutions. Configure applications, dimensions, nodes, properties, hierarchies, viewpoints, and validations. Design and manage metadata workflows and approval processes. Support data governance and master-data management requirements. Develop and maintain mappings, transformations, and data synchronization processes. Work with business stakeholders to define hierarchy and metadata requirements. Support testing, defect resolution, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live activities. Troubleshoot functional issues and provide recommendations for improving EDM processes. Oracle EPM Responsibilities Gather and document business and functional requirements. Participate in EPM solution design and configuration. Support EPM implementation and integration activities. Develop functional specifications and process documentation. Coordinate SIT/UAT and work with business teams to resolve issues. Support data validation, reconciliation, and metadata management. Participate in deployment and post-go-live stabilization. Provide functional guidance to technical/integration teams. Preferred EPM Experience Experience with one or more of the following Oracle EPM Cloud modules is preferred: Planning Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) Account Reconciliation (ARCS) Enterprise Data Management (EDM/EDMCS) Narrative Reporting Essbase Data Integration / EPM Automate
