Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management Functional Consultant with strong hands-on implementation and configuration experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Oracle Absence Management, Fast Formula, Core HR integrations, and end-to-end implementation activities. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing functional solutions, configuring Oracle HCM Absence Management modules, and providing support throughout implementation and post-production phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Configure and manage Absence Plans, Absence Types, Accrual Plans, Qualification Plans, and Eligibility Profiles. Design and implement accrual rules, carryover rules, ceilings, vesting, waiting periods, and plan limits based on business requirements. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Oracle HCM Fast Formulas, particularly Absence Management-related formulas. Understand Core HR employee and assignment data and its impact on absence eligibility, accrual calculations, and plan enrollment. Configure absence eligibility based on employee attributes, assignment details, grades, business units, legal employers, and other workforce criteria. Work closely with HR stakeholders and business users to gather requirements and translate business processes into Oracle HCM Cloud configurations. Perform functional analysis, gap analysis, solution design, and configuration documentation. Support functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing. Troubleshoot complex absence-related issues involving eligibility, accrual calculations, plan enrollment, and absence transactions. Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, reporting, and cross-module dependencies. Support production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvements after go-live. Independently manage functional deliverables, implementation milestones, cutover activities, and stabilization. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Absence Management. Experience with multiple end-to-end Oracle Absence Management implementations. In-depth knowledge of Absence Plans, Absence Types, Accrual Plans, Qualification Plans, and Eligibility Profiles. Strong expertise in configuring accrual rules, carryover rules, ceilings, vesting, and plan limits. Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting Oracle HCM Fast Formulas, especially Absence-related formulas. Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Core HR, including employee records, work relationships, assignments, departments, jobs, grades, and legal employers. Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud configuration, functional testing, and production support. Excellent requirement-gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage functional workstreams with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Multiple full-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations. Experience working in complex global or multi-country Absence Management environments. Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly releases and their impact on Absence Management. Experience with HCM Extracts, OTBI, HDL, and integrations related to Absence Management.
