Part Time Data Entry

This part time Data Entry position is responsible for entering data into database systems, general administrative duties and shipping requests. Training will be 1 week in our Encinitas office, and then will be working remotely. MUST LIVE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
PART-TIME Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
* $17.75 per hour General Responsibilities
- Prepares data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, priorities will be delegated by Supervisor and could change by need.
- Transfers data from paper and electronic formats into computer files or database systems using keyboard or scanner.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the Supervisor for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard.
- Types in data provided directly from customers.
- Creates spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update and audit existing data.
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
- Follows company policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Makes outbound phone calls to clients as directed by Supervisor.
- Other administrative and shipping duties as needed.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Fast keyboarding skills
- Accurate data entry
- Computer savvy
- Professional office etiquette
- Aptitude, curiosity, coachability, and a desire to learn are key characteristics needed.
- This is a part time entry level position.
