Patient Access Scheduler I REMOTE - Central Time Zone Only SCHEDULE:Must be available to work as early as 7AM and as late as 6PM Monday-Friday, and Saturday's as needed PAY:$18.70/hour Ability to advance to level II & III, with increased compensation! We are seeking a Patient Access Scheduler I to join our team in Wausau, WI.In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients--answering inbound calls, scheduling specialty or diagnostic appointments, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced contact center environment.Key Responsibilities Answer 75-125 inbound calls daily to schedule or update appointments Place outbound calls for follow-ups, referrals, and reschedules Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while assisting patients Collaborate with departments to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA Qualifications High School diploma or GED required 2 years healthcare setting experience required 1years contact center experience required Scheduling Experience Required Experience working with EPIC software required Strong customer service skills; medical office experience preferred Proficiency with computers.
