Principal Software Engineer /Architect
TItle: Principal Software Engineer /Architect Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months CTH
Responsibilities
- Define and own cloud and AI architecture, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure solutions aligned to business strategy
- Lead Azure platform engineering and migrations
- Architect AI/ML and generative AI solutions
- Drive enterprise data platform strategy using Microsoft Fabric, Azure
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for cloud-native application development
- Lead delivery across multiple programs, providing technical oversight and solution governance
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are embedded into all solution designs
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership on architecture, cloud engineering, AI adoption, and software development practices
- Develop and maintain the enterprise Azure & AI roadmap, aligning investments with business priorities and emerging technology trends
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms
- 5+ years of architecture experience defining solution, application, cloud, or enterprise architectures
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and platform services
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI/ML and generative AI solutions
- Strong experience with enterprise data platforms, data architecture, analytics, and data governance
- Strong programming skills in C#, Python, SQL, and modern software development frameworks
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and DevOps practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines
- Insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience preferred
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, or related certifications preferred
- Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth and the ability to balance architecture vision with delivery execution
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and ownership skills
