Product Manager
Product Manager - Healthcare Technology Contract Length: 1-year contract (potential for extension) Location: 100% remote anywhere Target Pay Rate: $65/hr, W2 Note: No H1B or C2C candidates at this time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of a modern physician-facing clinical platform. This individual will focus on solving complex physician workflow challenges and delivering intuitive digital solutions that improve patient care, streamline clinical operations, and reduce administrative burden. The Product Manager will own the full product lifecycle, from initial discovery and problem definition through roadmap development, prioritization, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization. This role will work closely with Engineering, UX, Clinical Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful capabilities across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and own product strategies and roadmaps for assigned platform capabilities, translating complex clinical and business needs into actionable priorities and measurable outcomes. Product Discovery: Lead discovery efforts to identify physician pain points, understand clinical workflows, validate assumptions, and assess opportunities through qualitative and quantitative research. Prioritization: Evaluate opportunities based on provider needs, business impact, clinical outcomes, technical feasibility, and available resources. Cross-Platform Integration: Collaborate with interconnected clinical technology platforms to identify dependencies and ensure a seamless end-to-end physician experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, UX, Clinical Operations, PMO, Legal, Compliance, and other Product teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Agile Product Delivery: Lead and support an Agile Scrum team by developing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, communicating product requirements, and establishing clear priorities. Performance Measurement: Establish product metrics and OKRs focused on adoption, clinical efficiency, and physician satisfaction. Use analytics and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement. Regulatory & Clinical Compliance: Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and Risk teams to ensure product capabilities meet applicable regulatory and clinical governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 2–4+ years of Product Management or related experience. Experience developing healthcare technology, EHR platforms, clinical workflow solutions, or physician-facing products. Experience leading 0-to-1 product discovery and taking products or major capabilities from initial concept through launch and optimization. Demonstrated experience leading digital products or complex software capabilities from discovery through delivery and optimization. Experience translating ambiguous customer and business challenges into actionable product opportunities, priorities, and roadmaps. Strong ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and prioritization. Experience leading product discovery, including customer interviews, workflow analysis, problem definition, opportunity assessment, hypothesis development, and solution validation. Ability to translate complex problems into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with product analytics, qualitative research, experimentation, and customer insights. Experience working in highly regulated environments and partnering with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, Risk, and clinical stakeholders. Experience delivering integrated digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
