We’re seeking a Product Manager, Analytics & Reporting to drive the strategy, adoption, and continuous evolution of NEOGOV’s core data intelligence capabilities. In this role, you will lead cross-functional alignment between Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver dashboards, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights that empower public sector decision-makers. You’ll leverage your deep expertise with modern data platforms — including Looker, Snowflake, data lakes, and generative AI features — to build scalable analytics tools and transform complex data into actionable workforce insights. As the PM over the A&R platform and products you will act as the bridge between internal product managers, and their end customers, negotiating with R&D, to deliver against a roadmap and strategy while adjusting to market needs.
What You Will Do
Analytics & Data Product Strategy Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for NEOGOV’s Analytics and Reporting platform, leveraging Looker and Snowflake built on top of an enterprise data lake infrastructure. Identify and deliver AI-powered capabilities (such as natural language querying, automated anomaly detection, and predictive reporting) to make data insights effortless for non-technical users. Maintain data governance, intake standards, and SLA guidelines to support embedded analytics across internal product suites and external customers. Assist in migration from old tooling to the new A&R architecture Platform & Data Pipeline Architecture Looker & BI Integration: Oversee Looker LookML model definitions, dashboard templates, embedded analytics, and self-service BI user experiences across NEOGOV products. Snowflake & Data Lake Infrastructure: Partner with Data Engineering to optimize data modeling, ELT/ETL pipelines, data warehousing in Snowflake, and query performance over cloud data lakes. AI Feature Innovation: Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to integrate LLMs, smart summaries, and predictive algorithms into reporting workflows. Data Security & Compliance: Ensure all analytics and AI capabilities maintain strict public-sector compliance, row-level security, and data privacy standards. Other Skills Systems Thinking: The ability to map out how a single platform change impacts multiple downstream applications. Technical Communication: Excellent capability to translate complex engineering constraints into plain language and vice versa. Drive alignment across Product, UX, and Engineering to increase analytics adoption and create a data-driven culture across subscribing applications. Track key operational and product metrics, including query response performance, AI feature usage, dashboard engagement, and customer satisfaction. Execution & Delivery Support product discovery, definition, and execution for key enterprise Platform initiatives and features. Work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver seamless, high-quality releases. Enable internal and external customers to successfully use delivered features. Track metrics and KPIs for feature adoption, configurability, and customer satisfaction. Gather feedback from sales, customer CAB meetings and internal product resources to build a feature roadmap. Who You Are 5+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS organizations, specifically focused on data analytics, business intelligence, or data infrastructure platforms. Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML), Snowflake data warehousing, and cloud data lakes (AWS/S3, Azure Blob, or GCP). Proven experience shipping AI/ML features into enterprise software products, such as natural language querying, automated insights, or predictive modeling. Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Product, UX Design, Engineering, and QA without direct authority. Ability to interview, absorb information, and turn it into user stories and acceptance criteria with samples and prototypes for development and QA. Ability to collaborate with a scrum team to deliver features that provide value, are documented, and enable downstream teams to use those features.
