About the position reputed company Archivist for Access is a reputed company, three-year term role focused on reputed company access to archival collections. reputed company hybrid position (four days on-site) supports initiatives related to collection management, researcher access, processing, and digitization. reputed company Archivist also provides regular reading room support, assisting researchers and contributing to a welcoming, informed, and service-oriented environment for users of the Institute Archives.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing collections for restrictions
- Updating access information in ArchivesSpace
- Supporting projects that reputed company knowledge and usability of collections
- Providing regular reading room support
- Assisting researchers
- Contributing to a welcoming, informed, and service-oriented environment for users of the Institute Archives
Requirements
- reputed company’s degree in Library, Archival, or Information Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of one year of experience in an archival setting
- Demonstrated ability to reputed company confidential information responsibly and in accordance with privacy and ethical standards
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and written communication skills, with close attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in academic libraries or archives
- Public service experience with diverse communities
- Archival processing and description
- Familiarity with ArchivesSpace or similar archival management systems
