Recruiter
PowerGrid Services is hiring a Recruiter in Hartselle, AL, onsite. This role supports full-cycle recruiting across field support, technical, and corporate functions, with emphasis on sourcing, candidate screening, and building long-term talent pipelines while promoting a consistent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer preparation, and onboarding support. Partner with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs and implement recruiting strategies. Source candidates through professional resources, job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, trade schools, and community partnerships. Build and maintain talent pipelines to support both current openings and future hiring priorities. Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Develop and execute recruiting campaigns to support high-volume and hard-to-fill roles. Represent PowerGrid Services at career fairs, industry events, and workforce development programs. Ensure recruiting activities align with employment laws, regulations, and company hiring practices. Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring activity and recruiting effectiveness. Required Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (required). Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience recruiting for utility, power generation, electrical, construction, or field service organizations. High-volume recruiting experience.
