Registered Nurse (RN) – Part Time Remote Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic part-time registered nurse (RN) to join our team as a remote care manager. In this role, you will engage with patients virtually to assess, coordinate, and monitor their health care needs—playing a vital part in our mission to enhance quality of life through proactive care management. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct remote patient assessments with empathy and professionalism.
• Monitor patients' health status and escalate warning signs appropriately.
• Apply medical terminology knowledge to assess and coordinate care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families.
• Document thoroughly and accurately within multiple computer systems.
• Prioritize daily responsibilities while working independently.
• Provide excellence in patient care and customer service.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical or patient-facing setting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in care management or case coordination
• Prior experience working remotely preferred
• Superior verbal communication and active listening skills
• High proficiency in medical terminology
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to recognize clinical red flags and escalate care as needed
• Tech-savvy; able to work within multiple systems efficiently
• Must have a HIPAA-compliant, private work area at home

Education:

• Bachelor's RN license in the state of TX, IL, MI, NM, AZ, AL, FL, CA, NB, or have a compact license (Required)

Experience:

• RN: 3 years (Required)

• Monday through Friday 8 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM - 5 PM (4 hours a day)
