[Remote] Agentic AI Engineer/Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems. The role focuses on building agent workflows, integrating large language models with applications and enterprise tools, developing retrieval-augmented generation systems, and optimizing AI solutions for accuracy, scalability, latency, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems using LLMs
- Build agent workflows involving planning, reasoning, tool calling, memory, and task execution
- Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar
- Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source models into applications
- Develop RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and knowledge-based AI systems
- Integrate agents with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and external tools
- Implement prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for AI agents
- Optimize AI applications for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to convert business requirements into AI solutions
Skills
- Strong Python programming skills
- Good understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning
- Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering
- Understanding of agentic architectures, tool/function calling, workflows, and memory
- Experience with APIs, REST services, databases, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and basic CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
