[Remote] AI Forward Deployed Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. h3 Technologies, LLC is seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to support Google enterprise customers in a fully remote, customer-facing role. The engineer will own the full delivery lifecycle by translating business needs into AI solutions, implementing GECX agents and supporting infrastructure, leading stakeholder communications, and managing deployment through stabilization.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder workshops, ask the right questions proactively, document requirements before the customer thinks to ask, and establish trust from day one
- Translate business needs into conversation flows, escalation paths, and agent skill boundaries, presenting options clearly to all sponsors and teams
- Implement GECX agents end-to-end including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, API integrations, and GCP infrastructure while proactively flagging scope risks
- Build automated evaluation frameworks, define acceptance criteria with the customer, and communicate quality status transparently to avoid go-live surprises
- Lead production deployments with clear cutover communications to all stakeholders and brief executive sponsors proactively before they ask
- Stay embedded through stabilization, surface performance insights, communicate incident status in plain language, and train customer teams to own their GECX agents
Skills
- Expectations: Must be comfortable leading stakeholder workshops and presenting architectures to both executive sponsors and engineering teams
- • Lack of experience building and shipping unsupervised AI agents in production
- • Weak communication skills or inability to interface directly with enterprise clients/executives
- • No hands-on engineering experience within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem
- • Python & REST API Engineering (5+ years)
- • AI Agentic Coding & Prompt Engineering (2+ years)
- • GCP Infrastructure & Vertex AI/GECX Suite (3+ years)
- • Advanced RAG (re-ranking, hybrid search, context optimization)
- • Technical Workshop Facilitation
- • Cloud Run & BigQuery experience
- • Python Engineering & REST APIs (5+ years preferred)
- • AI & Agentic Coding / Prompt Engineering (2+ years preferred)
- • GCP Cloud Infrastructure & GECX Suite (3+ years preferred)
