[Remote] AI Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Terracon is a multidisciplinary consulting firm focused on solving engineering and technical challenges. The AI Intern will support the development and implementation of AI use cases through data preparation, machine learning model building and evaluation, research, documentation, and collaboration with a project supervisor.
Responsibilities
- This position will support the development and implementation of AI use cases by assisting with data preparation, model building, evaluation, and documentation
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory analysis to support AI use case objectives
- Implement and evaluate machine learning models using appropriate performance metrics
- Contribute to model tuning, validation, and thorough documentation of methodologies and results
- Conduct literature reviews and research to support solution development and stay informed on relevant AI advancements
- Provide regular progress updates and actively engage in feedback sessions with the project supervisor
Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their degree
