[Remote] AI Native Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cayuse Holdings is seeking an AI Native Engineer to build and maintain AI-enabled engineering components. The role implements features, agents, skills, and MCP integrations using Claude Code, while addressing architecture and systems-level problems under senior review.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains harness components (retrieval, tool invocation, evaluation, observability) under review, and contributes improvements back to the shared base harness
• Works through architecture- and systems-level problems under senior review as the path to progression

Skills

• Tech: Claude Code, React / TypeScript / JavaScript / Node.js front end, Python and backend data engineering, AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway, Bedrock), Terraform, Playwright, Azure DevOps
• Professional English fluency, written and verbal
• AI-enabled and hands-on with Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling)
• Timezone overlap of at least 5 hours with PST working hours (8am–6pm PST)
• Hands-on AWS delivery is required for the engineering roles
