[Remote] Analytics Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi, in partnership with a client in the water and power industries, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to support the expansion of its enterprise data and analytics ecosystem. The role focuses on modernizing a cloud-based analytics platform and developing Looker dashboards, explores, semantic models, governed metrics, and self-service analytics capabilities for financial reporting, capital projects, safety, and other enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise analytics solutions
- Support financial reporting, capital project analytics, safety analytics, and future enterprise analytics initiatives
- Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data architects, and technology teams to transform business requirements into trusted Looker dashboards, explores, semantic models, governed metrics, and self-service analytics capabilities
Skills
- 100% remote - based out of South Carolina
- USC or GC Holders only
- Highly skilled Looker Analytics Developer with strong expertise in Looker, LookML, BigQuery, SQL, and modern business intelligence practices
