[Remote] Analytics Engineering Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Greystar is a global real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. The Analytics Engineering Intern will work with analysts, engineers, and business teams to solve a real business problem by building and validating data models, analyzing data quality, documenting work, and presenting recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to understand their goals and data needs
- Build and validate data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks
- Use AI coding assistants as part of your day-to-day workflow
- Analyze data, identify quality issues, and develop practical solutions
- Test, document, and improve your work based on feedback
- Present your final project and recommendations to business and Decision Intelligence leaders
Skills
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, or previous internships
- Exposure to data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Interest in using AI tools to support technical and analytical work
- Strong communication, curiosity, and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of your work
