[Remote] Analytics Engineering Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OnePay is a consumer fintech company providing banking, savings, credit, lending, investing, and other financial services. The Analytics Engineering Manager will lead a team that transforms raw data into actionable insights, while overseeing data pipelines, analytical models, infrastructure, governance, and analytics project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytical models
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting
- Establish and champion data best practices, governance, and quality standards across the organization
- Drive the design and optimization of our data analytics infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Oversee analytics project prioritization, delivery, and stakeholder communication
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
- Advanced expertise in SQL, Databricks, and dbt
- Experience architecting and scaling data transformation pipelines in a modern cloud environment
- Strong understanding of analytics best practices, including data modeling, testing, and documentation
- Track record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders (product, engineering, marketing) to deliver data-driven business impact
- Experience leading and developing high-performance technical teams
