[Remote] Android Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agility Partners is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join a high-impact mobile engineering team. The role focuses on developing native Android features, building customer-facing experiences, and optimizing application performance and reliability for a large-scale consumer application.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy native Android features using Kotlin and Android SDK
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to deliver intuitive mobile experiences
- Develop scalable, maintainable UI components and mobile architectures
- Integrate backend services and APIs to support seamless user journeys
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and overall user experience
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and feature planning
Skills
- Strong experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin
- Deep understanding of Android SDK and modern mobile development practices
- Experience building and shipping customer-facing features in large-scale consumer applications
- Knowledge of REST APIs, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and mobile design patterns
- Proven ability to work in complex codebases and deliver features from concept through production
- Strong collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
