[Remote] Application Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mesilla Valley Transportation is seeking an Application Administrator to maintain, configure, and ensure the stability of commercial off-the-shelf applications. The role provides second-level application support, monitors performance, troubleshoots issues, maintains documentation, supports training, implements automation, and assists with application testing and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for application-related issues, including troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of incidents
- Monitor application performance and respond to alerts or notifications
- Coordinate with technical support, server administrators, network administrators, and others as necessary to resolve issues
- Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles
- Conduct technician training sessions for applications, new features, or updates
- Investigate and diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application processes, procedures, and performance
- Implement automation and scripting for routine tasks to improve efficiency
- Perform routine updates and patches under supervision
- Document processes and procedures related to application management
- Assist in testing and deploying new applications or upgrades
Skills
- Associate's degree in IT related field or relevant work experience
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
- Basic certifications - A+
- Experience with RingCentral a plus
- Preferred location El Paso TX or Las Cruces NNM, Remote considered as well
