[Remote] Application Delivery Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Techgene Solutions is seeking an Application Delivery Engineer to design and support enterprise applications in a Calypso trading environment. The role involves building scalable Java solutions, integrating financial systems, and supporting cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and integrations within a Calypso trading and risk management environment
- Building scalable Java-based solutions
- Integrating financial systems
- Supporting cloud and DevSecOps initiatives
- Customizing Calypso modules
- Developing REST APIs and microservices
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of software and application development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Calypso development experience
- Strong experience with the Calypso API
- Expert-level Java programming skills
- Experience building Java REST APIs and microservices
- Strong knowledge of application servers and software development lifecycles
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data modeling
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Terraform, or similar
- Experience supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes
- Strong understanding of FX products, market risk, and credit risk (heavy in Trading Systems and FX platforms.)
