[Remote] Application System Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Application Analyst for a remote contract assignment supporting a healthcare technology team. The role is responsible for maintaining Epic PB applications, troubleshooting system and production issues, assisting with upgrades and testing, supporting enhancements, and collaborating with technical, operational, and healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) applications
- Troubleshoot system and production issues and help identify solutions
- Assist with Epic upgrades, testing, implementations, and system maintenance
- Help improve application performance and functionality
- Support application enhancements and ongoing production needs
- Assist with reports, system documentation, and testing
- Work closely with technical, operational, and healthcare teams
- Follow established change management and documentation processes
- Stay up to date on Epic enhancements and healthcare technology best practices
Skills
- Current Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification required
- 2–3+ years of hands-on Epic PB experience
- Experience supporting Epic in a hospital, health system, or healthcare environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Epic upgrades, testing, and ongoing application support
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Additional Epic certifications
- Experience supporting other enterprise healthcare applications
