[Remote] Artificial Intelligence Engineer

The role involves designing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions, working hands-on with Databricks, and contributing to an AI-first engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions in a modern data ecosystem
• Work hands-on with Databricks to build and optimize data pipelines and models
• Contribute to an AI-first engineering culture, integrating intelligent systems into core business workflows
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive measurable outcomes

Skills

• Strong experience as an AI/ML Engineer with production deployments
• Deep expertise in Databricks
• A data scientist mindset comfortable exploring, modeling, and interpreting data
• Proven ability to succeed in lean teams, taking ownership and delivering results
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in retail is ideal
• Someone open to contract to hire
