[Remote] AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 4A Consulting, LLC is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a remote role supporting cloud infrastructure and governance initiatives. The position focuses on AWS Landing Zone implementation, identity modernization, Active Directory and DNS migration, multi-account AWS environments, and cloud security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Support migration of on-premises Active Directory and DNS workloads to AWS
- Build and maintain AWS Landing Zone environments
- Design and implement Service Control Policies (SCPs) and preventative guardrails
- Support migration of existing AWS accounts into new Organizational Unit (OU) structures
- Assist with cloud governance, identity management, and security best practices
- Collaborate with cloud architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable and secure AWS environments
Skills
- Experience migrating on-prem Active Directory workloads to AWS
- Experience migrating DNS services to AWS
- Experience building AWS Landing Zone environments
- Experience designing and implementing SCPs and governance controls
- Experience migrating AWS accounts into new OU structures
- Strong understanding of AWS Organizations and multi-account environments
- Experience designing and implementing AWS Landing Zone or AWS Control Tower environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS Organizations, SCPs, multi-account governance, and account provisioning
- Experience with identity solutions including AWS IAM Identity Center (SSO), Active Directory, Azure AD, or Okta integration
- Knowledge of cloud networking, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred
- Experience supporting regulated environments and security compliance requirements
