[Remote] Azure Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a contract role. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and support Azure cloud solutions while ensuring reliable application and database migrations across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support Azure cloud resources, including App Services, Functions, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and Azure SQL Databases
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues to ensure high availability and performance
- Support application and database migration projects to Azure cloud environments
- Create and manage deployment requests, technical documentation, and operational support tickets for cloud operations teams
- Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to identify and resolve performance issues
- Configure and support Azure networking, security, and authentication services, including Virtual Networks (VNet) and Entra ID Authentication
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in IT, including 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong expertise in Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL Database, VNet, Azure Monitor, and Entra ID Authentication
- Experience supporting cloud migration projects, application/database migrations, and Azure cloud infrastructure troubleshooting
