[Remote] Azure Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The financial services firm is seeking a Data Engineer to support its Cyber Security Operations team. The role focuses on building and maintaining secure data pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments, strengthening threat detection, monitoring, and incident response through high-quality security telemetry processing.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale data ingestion pipelines for SIEM and cloud platforms (such as Azure Data Explorer and Log Analytics)
- Normalize, parse, enrich, and validate structured/unstructured log data using regex and JSON
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to guarantee end-to-end data flow
- Check log integrity, timeliness, and completeness for reporting and threat detection
- Ensure all logs match organizational schemas, naming rules, and standards
- Fix parsing, ingestion, and pipeline errors across various systems
