[Remote] Azure Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Azure Platform Engineer to help design, build, and modernize enterprise cloud platforms and critical digital applications. The role combines cloud architecture strategy with hands-on engineering, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering practices while partnering with development, operations, security, and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and modernize enterprise cloud platforms and critical digital applications
- Actively contributes to engineering efforts, solves complex technical challenges, automates infrastructure, and partners closely with development, operations, security, and business teams
- Play a key role in cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes platforms, and Site Reliability Engineering practices as CareSource continues its cloud transformation journey
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions
- Strong Azure experience
- Hands-on experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Strong Docker experience and hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
- Experience improving application reliability, monitoring, scalability, and performance
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
