[Remote] Backend Software Engineer

The Backend Software Engineer will build scalable, reliable distributed systems for Customer Studio, focusing on data warehouse performance, analytics and experimentation, real-time audience syncing, and generative AI workflows.

Skills
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving deep into backend and distributed systems and thinking holistically about architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability
- We are also looking for someone with strong customer and product thinking who feels comfortable writing and engaging with product specs
- Experience: 6-15 years as a backend engineer with substantial experience designing and building backend systems at high-growth startups
