[Remote] Checkpoint Firewall Engineer

The Check Point Firewall Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for a large-scale data center migration, including firewall configuration, policy transition, validation, troubleshooting, and cutover coordination.
Responsibilities
- Support a large-scale data center migration project from one data center environment to another
- Provide hands-on engineering support for Check Point firewall infrastructure throughout the migration
- Assist with firewall configuration, migration, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Help ensure firewall policies and connectivity are properly transitioned between data center environments
- Troubleshoot network security and firewall-related issues that arise during migration activities
- Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to support successful cutover activities
- Participate in testing and validation to confirm connectivity and security requirements are maintained after migration
- Work remotely while maintaining availability during Central Time business hours
