[Remote] Cloud DevOps Engineer 2
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer 2 to develop and implement cloud-based solutions. The role focuses on cloud systems integration, performance, configuration, continuous improvement, technical analysis, and resolving complex system issues, with up to 25% travel.
Responsibilities
- Develops strategy and integration methodology around design, development and implementation of cloud based solutions
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications
- Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes
- Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issues
- Enables the quick development and release of changes and bug-fixes on an as-required basis and incorporation of feedback from developers/users
- Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise
- Develops technical solutions to complex problems
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
- IAT-2 certification required
- One or more cloud certifications required
- Active Secret clearance required
