[Remote] Cloud Engineer

The company is seeking a Cloud Architect to design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions, lead cloud migration initiatives, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS services
- Develop cloud migration strategies and modernize existing infrastructure
- Establish cloud security, governance, and best practices across cloud environments
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and cost
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design cloud-native solutions
- Provide technical guidance and architectural recommendations for cloud projects
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field
- • 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Infrastructure Engineering
- • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and Route 53
- • Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments
- • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation
- • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- • Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
- • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch
- • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- • Any certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking are a plus
