[Remote] Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is recruiting for a Cloud Engineer contract position with long-term potential. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, automation, CI/CD pipelines, security, monitoring, and cloud reliability.
Responsibilities
- Note; Candidates must be willing to relocate and work onsite in the USA from Day 1
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure using EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Lambda
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment activities
- Automate infrastructure configuration and application deployments using Ansible
- Develop Python and Shell scripts to automate cloud operations, deployment, and administrative tasks
- Configure and manage AWS networking, security, access controls, and IAM policies
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting solutions to maintain system availability and performance
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve cloud reliability, scalability, security, and deployment efficiency
Skills
- Candidates must be willing to relocate and work onsite in the USA from Day 1
- Must have skills: -AWS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Ansible, scripting (Python/Shell), monitoring & logging tools
