[Remote] Cloud Engineer - Azure
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Highbrow Technology Inc is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure deployments and platform engineering initiatives. The role focuses on building reusable Terraform modules, developing and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows, working with Microsoft Azure, and using AI tools and agents to improve engineering efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining reusable Terraform modules
- Developing and maintaining GitHub workflows
- Working independently in enterprise cloud environments
- Developing and leveraging new AI skills and capabilities
- Integrating effectively with AI agents
- Using enterprise-approved AI tools in day-to-day development
- Applying AI to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate development
Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, including building and maintaining reusable Terraform modules
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure in cloud deployment environments
- 2+ years of experience authoring GitHub workflows / GitHub Actions, including creating new workflows and maintaining existing workflows
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment patterns and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight
- Strong AI proficiency, including:
- Developing and leveraging new AI skills and capabilities
- Integrating effectively with AI agents
- Using enterprise-approved AI tools in day-to-day development
- Applying AI to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate development
- 1–2 years of experience with AWS
- 1–2 years of experience with GCP
- 1–2 years of experience with Python, JavaScript, and/or Unix
- Experience working in enterprise cloud environments
- Experience in platform engineering
- Cloud or Terraform certifications are advantageous but not required
