[Remote] Cloud Engineer- Expert
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Intellibee Inc is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Expert to support NCDIT-Transportation’s DMV NCMAX cloud infrastructure build. The role will help define Azure architecture and serve as a bridge between the transportation department and vendors, with responsibilities spanning cloud networking, storage, security, infrastructure as code, and platform reliability.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and developing software solutions for cloud-based operating systems
- Builds and maintains infrastructure as code (IaC) using DevOps methodology and versioning with a descriptive model to define and deploy infrastructure, such as networks, virtual machines, load balancers, and connection topologies
- Providing a reliable and scalable platform for developers to build and deploy applications
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud network infrastructure including the deployment and configuration of cloud-based network solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and security
Skills
- All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina
- This position may require on site attendance when business needs warrant in person participation, such as scheduled meetings or other task specific activities
- STATEWIDE TRAVEL REQUIRED
- As a contractor the selected candidate will have to use their own vehicle; state vehicles are not permitted to be driven by contractors
- Thorough knowledge of DevOps principles and practices and tools Required 7 Years
- Thorough knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices, including security, scalability, and performance optimization Required 7 Years
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Required 7 Years
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Highly desired 7 Years
