[Remote] Cloud Information Systems Security Engineer 2
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gormat is seeking a Cloud Information Systems Security Engineer 2 to support the development and implementation of information security engineering designs and solutions for cloud environments. The role assesses and mitigates security threats and risks, develops security standards and mitigation plans, and implements and evaluates security-focused tools and services throughout the program life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Owns and manages the development of InfoSec engineering designs and implementation
- Identifies security issues and risks, and develops mitigation plans and standards for cloud implementations
- Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services
- Oversee assessment and mitigation of system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validation of system security requirements definition and analysis; establishing system security designs
- Supports implementing security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures and verification of security requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
- Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
- High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- IAT-2 certification required
- One or more cloud certifications required
- Active Secret clearance required
