[Remote] Cloud Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. The Cloud Network Engineer will design, deploy, and operate cloud networking infrastructure across major cloud providers, including VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity, transit topologies, edge networking, DNS, and security controls. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, conducting code and design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud networking infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers
- Work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions
- Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in networking, with significant time on cloud networking
- Deep hands-on experience with networking on at least one major cloud provider
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, BGP, and modern networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or equivalents)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code for cloud networking, especially Terraform
- Strong understanding of cloud security and network controls
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service mesh fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting and packet-level analysis skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Cloud networking specialty certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer)
- Experience with multi-cloud networking and cloud-to-cloud connectivity
- Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms and SASE architectures
- Experience with eBPF-based networking tools
- Exposure to regulated industries with strict network segmentation requirements
