[Remote] Cloud Security Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Secur-Serv is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support clients deploying security integrations and serve as a technical partner on cloud security initiatives. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining security solutions, migrating environments to Prisma Cloud, resolving integration issues, and providing strategic guidance to customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the customer(s), sales teams, peers, engineering and support teams as appropriate
- Understand the customer environment, requirements, and security roadmap to implement the appropriate security solution
- Configure, implement, and maintain Security Operating Platform
- Optimize and migrate policies and objects from the existing environment to Prisma Cloud
- Test and validate the migration environment
- Coordinate and execute cutover to production
- Provide guidance on code upgrades
- Facilitate the development of new application and threat signatures
- Interact with our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to understand and diagnose support cases
- Some travel may be required, dependent on customer request
Skills
- Must be very comfortable with presenting to Leadership and the customer and possess strong consulting skills
- Must have mid to advanced experience in Docker and Kubernetes
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading security solutions in large environments
- You effectively handle multiple projects and work calmly in high pressure
- You're an excellent writer, with strong verbal communication skills, with demonstrable ability to communicate to senior leaders and technical peers
- Previous experience using and/or managing Prisma Cloud is highly preferred
- Solutions Architect experience (Dev Ops Engineering background)
- Knowledge of Azure and GCP
- Python Scripting (beginner experience at minimum) in addition to RQL preferably scripting in Prisma Cloud (Formerly known as Redlock/Twistlock)
- Automation: CI/CD pipeline exposure
