[Remote] Content Author
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Learnvia develops innovative, mobile-first learning materials and educational resources for college-level students. The Content Author will create and maintain interactive mathematics, statistics, and quantitative learning content, collaborate with engineers and educators, and use AI-assisted tools in the production workflow. The role also supports product demonstrations, instructor feedback, and external authoring projects.
Responsibilities
- Create concise, interactive content, including instructional text and auto-graded learning questions
- Design web-based homework assignments and engaging tools for key topics across quantitative subjects
- Refine and maintain existing content to ensure high quality and alignment with pedagogical standards
- Partner with the engineering team to develop tools for concept visualization, exploration, and practice
- Use AI tools in the authoring workflow to accelerate drafting and review while keeping quality high
- Support Marketing and Sales efforts by delivering product demos, addressing instructor feedback, and assisting with special projects
- Coordinate external authoring projects, including reviewing proposals, training contributors, and ensuring high-quality output
Skills
- Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Experience teaching college-level mathematics, statistics, or data science, including remedial or corequisite courses
- Experience with AI-assisted development, particularly Claude Code and agentic approaches to building and automating workflows
- Familiarity with using large language models in content or software production
- Proficient in LaTeX for mathematical writing and formatting
- Familiarity with programming tools like Python, R, MATLAB, or Desmos
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex topics clearly
- Experience in educational content development or instructional design
- Motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Passion for educational innovation, equity in student outcomes, and modern teaching methods
