[Remote] Contract Recruiter

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PragerU is hiring a Contract Recruiter to attract and hire mission-aligned talent across departments. The recruiter will manage full-cycle hiring, build candidate pipelines, partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition, and use recruiting data and AI tools to improve hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive full-cycle recruiting across all departments, including roles supporting marketing, production, content, operations, and fundraising from sourcing through offer
• Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, including direct outreach, networking, and leveraging AI-powered sourcing tools
• Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, Boolean searches, AI tools, and other creative strategies
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for both active and future roles
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up
• Use data and recruiting tools to track progress and optimize hiring outcomes
• Partner closely with VP, People Operations and Director, Talent Acquisition to understand hiring needs and provide strategic guidance throughout the process
• Collaborate with the broader People team on recruiting initiatives and projects as needed

Skills

• 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• MUST have strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing methods
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
• Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Experience working with Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems
• A collaborative, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership
• Strong alignment with PragerU's principles, conservative values, and genuine enthusiasm for our content and audience
